Garuda Eleven Metaleague Introduction
Garuda Eleven (G11) Metaleague, a blockchain and NFT-based football manager game from Indonesia, will be launched in the near future. Developed by Royal Garuda Meta Semesta and managed by a community of Indonesian football lovers, this game is based on a true story contained in the Garuda Eleven webtoon series. The comic tells the story of the struggle of students from a Praja Garuda Kencana Football School which was almost closed due to the abandonment of sponsors.
Garuda Eleven Metaleague will be present as an interactive game that is open to players and the community and raises the concept of play & earn, to play and get other benefits without ignoring the fun aspect of the game.
In terms of gameplay, players will be able to enjoy a unique playing system because it takes strategy and combines team performance and can improve character abilities through Soccer School. That way, the character is able to compete with other players and win the match. Each character or figure has unique characteristics that can complement each other in the group.
Players can enjoy matches in team mode and fight with other players’ teams on the field to get prizes because Garuda Eleven Metaleague supports Player vs Player (PvP) game mode. Players in each group will be randomly selected and only see their teammates avoid fake games (match-fixing). This game mode makes the team’s game performance based on the strategy implemented by the group. This is an innovative game mode based on the integration of the confrontation game. This mode is implemented to produce stronger interactions between friend players and players competing on the field.
Currently, Garuda Eleven Metaleague is in the stage of developing the game and its NFT assets, they also develop a website to support the game. In Q4 2022, the Beta version of Garuda Eleven Metaleague will be released to the public and later be improved based on the tester’s feedback.
The full game itself will be released in early 2023, with all the features that are already being polished and tweaked, with RGMS’s commitment to control and keep expanding the games and provide updates that might include real-life athletes or future Garuda Eleven characters, since the Garuda Eleven author, Sweta Kartika, are on the process of writing the second season of the webtoon that would be released soon.
